After seven years with Team Majic and now his first race with the XRAY, Mario Spiniello won the first race of Italian Championship ahead of Spataro and Tironi.

After placing 9th in qualifying, Mario got the right set-up for the final. He opted not to change tires, starting by 3 42 and 1 45. After the first minutes of race he immediately went into 4th place. After about 20 minutes he took the lead and kept it to the end. He finished 3 seconds ahead of Spataro and 10 seconds ahead of Tironi. Round 2 of the Italian Championship will be held in Mesero on June 25.
